Nancy Leigh DeMoss: "An Important Opportunity"

The theme of manhood and womanhood is not an afterthought on God’s part; nor is it inconsequential. It is a crucial aspect of God’s plan in creation and redemption, woven into the warp and woof of Scripture. Within our lifetime, we have witnessed a massive sea change on this matter within the evangelical sub-culture. That shift has followed hard on the heels of a seismic shift in Western culture as a whole. What was once considered radical and fringe has become mainstream. It is in the air we breathe. Confusion is epidemic and the consequences are costly. This discussion is not just a theoretical exercise. We are talking about real-life implications in our homes and churches and for our witness in the world.

Knowing the enormous potential for blessing if we embrace God’s plan, the enemy has set out to steal the truth from the Church. God’s people need to be biblically informed and grounded, able to articulate and committed to live out God’s design for men and women. This year’s Northbrook Conference provides an important opportunity to do just that. Randy Stinson understands what is at stake and has a strong grasp of the Scripture on this issue.
