Southern Seminary and Transgender Diplomas

Southern Seminary has (rightly) refused to change the name of a student who wants his, now her, name changed to reflect his/her new "gender." Read about it here.

The best quote of the article is from Al Mohler, Southern's president:
If you're married, if you change your name, if you move to another planet — it doesn't matter. We're not going to change the name on a diploma. ... That long predated anyone asking for it for this reason.
