We had a good day as a family: playing outside, BBQing with friends, watching fireworks, letting the kids stay up way past bedtime.
I'm thankful for the grace of God to live in a country where I can freely profess, worship and preach Jesus Christ. I pray that the Lord will give us citizens and leadership who protect freedom of religion, so that we may live peaceful and quiet lives.
I pray for the church in this nation to cherish slavery to Christ more than earthly freedom, his fame among the nations more than their comforts here, and their citizenship in heaven more than their citizenship on earth.
