I just finished reading Nathan Wilson's Leepike Ridge
to my 6 year old son. What an adventure!
Without spoiling too much of the plot, young Tom Hammond floats on a piece of packing foam to the adventure of a lifetime. Under Leepike Ridge, he finds a corspe, a faithful dog, a friend, and much more. Suspenseful, humorous, witty, and unpredictible, Wilson is a gifted writer, who makes it difficult to put the book down. My son didn't want me to stop reading.
In fact, as soon as we finished Leepike Ridge, my son insisted that we start his Christmas present, another book by Wilson, 100 Cupboards
. I'll let you know how that one goes.
