Jerry Owen at Credenda Agenda offers some refreshing "Second Thoughts on Family Worship." I appreciate them because they kill legalism without comforting laziness in parenting. Sometimes I fear that "family worship" can be the product of "worship of the family." This is a helpful corrective and caution.
His three main points are:
- Family Worship Isn’t Required by the Bible
- Family Worship, If Done, Is Not the Most Important Spiritual Thing You Do
- Family Worship Should Be Delightful for Everyone
